Solstice 5K - Ottawa
The Solstice 5K - Ottawa is a running and walking event held to celebrate the long days of summer. The race takes place at the Canal Ritz, located on the Queen Elizabeth Driveway in Ottawa, Ontario. Participants are invited to race against the sunset on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
Two participation options are available:
- 5 km Run/Walk (In-person)
- 5 km Virtual
The virtual event is designed for those who cannot attend in person, allowing residents across Canada to complete the distance at their own convenience. Registration is open to Canadian residents only, and entries are non-refundable.
Registered participants receive a pair of HOKA Rincon 4 running shoes, which feature upgraded foam and rubberized EVA for lightweight cushioning and durability. All finishers also receive a unique commemorative medal featuring a miniature Earth that orbits the sun. For virtual participants, the shoes and finisher medal are shipped directly to their provided home address. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
