SOLES for All Souls 5K Race / 2K Walk
This community running and walking event takes place in Stony Brook Village at 61 Main Street. The course passes rolling hills, tree-lined streets and the Stony Brook harbor. Proceeds are dedicated to the Handicapped Accessibility Project to make the Stanford White-designed chapel and its programming accessible; programming includes concerts, Native American drumming, poetry and daily visitation.

All participants sign in at the Registration Desk at the Reboli Center for the Arts (64 Main Street) to pick up bibs. Pre-registrants are guaranteed a free tee shirt. Day-of walk-ins are accepted for payment by check or cash only. Race day stretching is provided by a licensed physical therapist. The event is professionally timed by Schwab's Second Wind. An award ceremony with medal presentations and prizes follows the race at the registration area.
Parking is available in the Town of Brookhaven parking lot adjacent to the Stony Brook Yacht Club, opposite the Three Village Inn. Children under 13 who race or walk must be accompanied by an adult.
