Event overview
The Soles 4 Paws 5K takes place in Carthage, Missouri on November 23, 2025, at Carthage Municipal Park (521 Robert Ellis Young Drive). Net proceeds go to the Carthage Humane Society. The event includes an in-person 5K and 1K plus a virtual 5K option. The 5K course is USATF-Certified.

Race features include electronic bibs and timing for the 5K run, finisher awards for all 5K participants, awards for top male and female and age-group winners in the 5K Solo, and awards for top handler/dog teams in the 5K-with-pet. Dog bandanas are provided to animal finishers in the 5K-with-pet and the 1K. Non-retractable leashes are required for pets; baby joggers and strollers are allowed in the 1K. Race-tech shirts are optional during online registration with guaranteed delivery on race day if ordered by November 9.
