Run for Beer - Solemn Oath Brewery
Run for Beer is an untimed 5K fun run held on May 3, 2026 at Solemn Oath Brewery, 2919 West Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647. The course starts and ends at the taproom and follows a mapped route through the surrounding neighborhood. Routes are clearly marked and designed to showcase the local area.
Registration opens April 8, 2026 and closes May 3, 2026. The registration fee is $40. Registered participants receive one craft brew from Solemn Oath at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), entry into a prize drawing, and access to post run music, games, giveaways, and partner offerings. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofits. Participants under 21 who present valid ID receive a nonalcoholic beverage instead.
The event uses open roads; roads are not closed for the run and participants must follow all traffic laws. There is no bag check. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care and subject to brewery policies. The event is scheduled rain or shine; if running is unsafe, organizers may still host post run activities.
