Sofia's Hope Reason to Run 5K
Sofia's Hope Reason to Run 5K takes place in Miami at Deering Estate. The event includes an in person 5K held on November 7, 2026, and a virtual 5K that participants may complete anytime between October 31 and November 7, 2026.
Online registration opens September 1 and remains available until the race. The standard registration fee is $35; a price increase of $10 takes effect on November 6.
Packet pick-up is available at the Florida Blue location across from The Falls (8895 SW 136 Street) on October 30 and November 1. Packets are also available on race day at the Check-In location.
Virtual participants may walk or run their 5K anywhere during the virtual window and may share photos on social media. All participants receive race swag, including a custom medal and an official shirt, and medals will be awarded to top finishers. Swag items will be mailed via USPS after November 7.
A post race family festival overlooking Biscayne Bay will feature food, drink, music, prizes and additional activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
