Sofia's Hope Reason to Run 5K
This event supports Sofia's Hope, an organization founded in 2013 that provides programs for children with cancer and their families.
Participants can join in two ways. The in-person event takes place at the Deering Estate in Miami. Alternatively, participants can complete a 5K distance virtually, walking or running anywhere between October 31st and November 7th. All registered participants, both in-person and virtual, receive an official shirt and a custom medal. Medals are also awarded to top finishers. Race swag is mailed via USPS after November 7th.
Packet pick-up for registered participants is available at a Florida Blue location across from The Falls on Thursday, October 30th and Saturday, November 1st. Packets can also be picked up at check-in on the day of the in-person race. Online registration is available until the race start, with a price increase for adults and those under 18 on November 6th at midnight.
A post-race Family Festival overlooking Biscayne Bay includes food, drink, music, and prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
