SoDel Cares 8th Annual 5k Run / Walk and One Mile Non Timed Walk
This event takes place on June 6, 2026 at Thompson Island Brewery in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It is organized by SoDel Cares, the philanthropic arm of SoDel Concepts, which supports local organizations serving children, at-risk youth and adults, and the elderly.

- One mile non timed walk
The 5k includes both running and walking categories. A competitive walking division requires participants to walk the entire course; running or jogging is not permitted in that division. Registration fees apply; published fees list the 5k registration at about $39 and a one mile non competitive walk fee in the mid $30 range, with a separate adult guest ticket for the post race party.
Amenities listed for registered participants include event tee shirts while supplies last, live music, post race refreshments provided by Thompson Island Brewery, a breakfast buffet at the post race party, and complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over. Packet pick up and late registration are available the day before and on the morning of the event.
