Chile Harvest YOUTH Triathlon
The Chile Harvest YOUTH Triathlon is a youth multisport event held on the New Mexico Tech campus in Socorro, New Mexico. The competition takes place in a pool for the swim, on roads for the bike, and on grass for the run. It is organized for children ages 7 to 14. Age groups are determined by the participant’s age on December 31, 2026.
Entry involves a base fee of $20. Participants without a current USA Triathlon membership will have a $10 membership purchased during registration.
Race distances vary by age group and are set as follows:
- Ages 7-8: Swim 50 yards, bike 1 mile, run 0.5 mile
- Ages 9-10: Swim 100 yards, bike 2 miles, run 0.5 mile
- Ages 11-12: Swim 150 yards, bike 3 miles, run 1 mile
- Ages 13-14: Swim 200 yards, bike 3 miles, run 1 mile
