Event overview
La Jornada de Las Quebradadas is an off-road ultra event near Socorro, New Mexico. The race is listed as 32 miles with an elevation gain of 3300'. The event charges a registration fee of $75. Course and logistics
The course begins at a small pullout off the Quebradas backcountry byway and includes a mix of single and double track, dirt 4WD roads, arroyo sections, limestone and sandstone outcrops, and a short sandy climb to a ridge. Key points listed in the course description include Byway Aid Station at mile 7.5, a marked junction near mile 11 where runners turn right to start a counterclockwise loop, Johnson Hill aid station at mile 17, and a return to the Byway Aid Station near mile 24.5 before the final section back to the start.
