Blue Canyon Trail Run (Dec 13, 2025)
The Blue Canyon Trail Run takes place in Socorro, NM, with the race start and parking at the Socorro Rodeo Grounds / Socorro Soccer and Rodeo Complex. The event is organized to partially fund the Socorro High School Cross Country Team and to help maintain local public trails. Registration closes on Tue, Dec 9 at 11:59 PM MT. Entry fees range from $55 to $75. Check-in opens 50 minutes and closes 10 minutes before each race start.

10K runners will have a water/Gatorade station at miles 1.7 and 4.5. 18-mile runners will have water/Gatorade at miles 1.7 and 16.3, and access to full trail-race aid stations at miles 6.2 and 11.5.
Parking and refunds
The race start and parking lot are at the Socorro Rodeo Grounds. The organizer offers only a partial refund for cancellations or delays caused by extreme weather or public land closures that occur within the week before the event; registration fees cover pre-event expenses that are not recoverable.
