Blue Canyon Trail Run
Blue Canyon Trail Run is scheduled for December 12, 2026 in Socorro, NM. The event is organized by the Socorro Trail Running Series and is set at the Socorro Soccer and Rodeo Complex, with race start and parking at the Socorro Rodeo Grounds.
The event offers the following distances:
- 18 mile
- 10K
Registration opens August 15, 2026. Entry fees range from $65 to $85. All participants receive a meal from the local food truck Cubish, free event photos, and an event shirt. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to maintenance of local trails and to the Socorro High School Cross Country team.
Aid stations are placed along the course. 10K runners have water and electrolyte stations at miles 1.7 and 4.5. 18 mile runners have water and electrolyte stations at miles 1.7 and 16.3. All runners have access to full aid stations at miles 6.2 and 11.5.
Awards for overall winners include a custom trophy and an REI gift card. Winners of the 18 mile race will receive a $50 REI gift card, and winners of the 10K will receive a $50 custom trophy.
