SocaRobics Runners Forrest Gump Fun Run
This is a themed fun run held at the Lakeside Loop in New Town Village Center, Owings Mills, MD. The course is the loop around the lake run in the reverse direction from the organizer's annual December Skeleton Run, with runners positioned to face oncoming traffic for this edition.
The event offers two route options for participants:
- 4.4 miles full loop around the Lakeside Loop.
- 1 mile total via a half mile out and half mile back.
The meeting point is at New Town Village near 9700 Groffs Mill Drive, with parking next to the McDonalds and M&T Bank. The organizer suggests dressing in the Forrest Gump theme of a red hat, yellow top, and red shorts. Registration has no fee and the event is presented as free of charge.
