About the race
Set on Southbourne Beach’s promenade, SoBo Series: Volumes 1–4 unfolds along the coast just east of Bournemouth in Dorset. The flat, tarmacked course is an out-and-back loop offering the option to run any distance from 5K to ultra-marathon across four 7-hour races. Each lap is 5.3 km (3.28 miles) with no elevation, making it fast and accessible for all abilities.
The event features on-site aid and drinks, a belongings area, public toilets and showers, and a no-plastic-cup policy (bring your own). Finisher medals are awarded for 5K+.
