Snowman Triathlon, Duathlon & Swims 2026
The Snowman Triathlon, Duathlon & Swims takes place in Eryri (Snowdonia) at Plas y Brenin, Capel Curig on 26 July 2026. The organiser describes it as a multi-terrain event that includes lake swims, road cycling and mountain trail running. The event was awarded Event of the Year in the 2021 Welsh Triathlon Awards.
Multiple race formats are offered:
- Sprint: Swim 750 m, Bike 27.1 km, Run 6.3 km
- Standard: Swim 1500 m, Bike 69.3 km, Run 8.7 km
- Aquabike Standard: Swim 1500 m, Bike 69.3 km
- Legend (70.3): Swim 1900 m, Bike 95.6 km, Run 21.2 km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 2.3 km, Bike 27.1 km, Run 6.3 km
- 1500 m Swim
- 2.4 mile Swim
The event village includes music, commentary, shopping, food and chill-out zones. There are family finishes and on-course support such as marshals, signage and pick-up vehicles. Timing is by chip with online results. Finishers receive event mementos that form part of the organiser's Adventure Championships series. The event operates bilingually, with signs, registration and commentary available in English and Welsh. The headline charity partner is the Mountain Adventure Fund; donations can be added during booking and free fundraising places are available subject to a minimum sponsorship level.
