Snowman Triathlon & Duathlon
The Snowman Triathlon and Sprint Duathlon take place at Plas y Brenin in Eryri (Snowdonia). Each race begins beneath the skyline of Yr Wyddfa and combines an open‑water lake swim, road cycling through mountain roads, and a mountain trail run through Dyffryn Ogwen and onto the slopes of Moel Siabod. The swim takes place in Llynau Mymbyr.
Races include:
- Sprint: Swim 750 m, Bike 27.1 km, Run 6.2 km
- Standard: Swim 1500 m, Bike 69.1 km, Run 8.7 km
- Legend 70.3: Swim 1900 m, Bike 95.6 km, Run 21.2 km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 2.2 km, Bike 27.1 km, Run 6.2 km
The event offers an event village with music, commentary, food and shopping, family finishes, on-course marshals, signage and pick-up vehicles. Chip timing and online results are provided, and finishers receive event mementos. The organiser partners with the Mountain Adventure Fund; participants may add a donation on the booking form (no minimum amount) and free places for fundraisers are available subject to a minimum sponsorship requirement.
