Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk
The Snowman Shuffle is a 4 Mile run and walk on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY, on the Scenic Loop. The course begins at Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, and returns around the Scenic Loop with a downhill finish. The event is the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix and is also part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. Virtual participation options are offered, including a virtual 4 Mile and a virtual 4 Mile with packet mailing.
Logistics, fees, teams and awards
Entry fee items include a gender-specific long sleeve shirt (subject to change), a finisher medal, free race photography, age group awards, and awards for Overall, Masters and Grand Masters. Awards are given to the top three male and female Overall, Master and Grand Master finishers, and to the top three in each age group from 9 and under up to 80 and over. The Polar Bear Grand Prix Team Challenge accepts 3 to 5 person teams in Male, Female or Coed divisions; the fastest three on each team are scored and Coed teams must include at least one woman. The event’s charity partner is the Olmsted Parks Conservancy; registrants who raise $150 or more receive free registration. Parking is limited near Rugby Field and around the Scenic Loop; parking on the grass is prohibited and may result in a ticket or tow. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
