Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk 2027
The Snowman Shuffle is a four mile run and walk held at 2949 Scenic Loop in Louisville, Kentucky, through Cherokee Park. The course starts at Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, continues around the Scenic Loop, and finishes with a downhill section. The event is the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix and is also part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.
The event offers in-person and virtual options, including a virtual entry with a packet mailing option. Entry includes a gender specific long sleeve shirt subject to change, a finisher medal, free race photography, age group awards, and awards for Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters. Each Polar Bear Grand Prix race has its own finisher medal; completing all three races produces a combined Polar Bear Grand Prix finisher medal.
A team challenge is available for 3 to 5 person teams in Male, Female, and Coed divisions. Teams are scored by their fastest three finishers; Coed teams must include at least one woman. There is no additional fee to enter the team challenge, and team members remain eligible for individual awards.
The event partners with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy for fundraising. Parking at Rugby Field and around the Scenic Loop is limited; parking on the grass may result in ticketing or towing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
