Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk 2027
The event is a 4 Mile run and walk held in Cherokee Park in Louisville, KY. The course begins at Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, returns around the Scenic Loop, and ends with a downhill finish.
The race is the third and final event of the Polar Bear Grand Prix and is also part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. There are in-person and virtual participation options; a virtual entry allows participants to complete the course on their own and submit results during a specified results window. A virtual option with packet mailing is offered as well.
Entry includes a gender specific long sleeve shirt subject to change, a finisher medal, free race photography, and awards. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, to the first male and female Master and Grand Master, and to the top three male and female in each age group: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over.
A team competition is open to 3 to 5 person teams in Male, Female, and Coed divisions. The fastest three team members score and Coed teams must include at least one woman. There is no extra fee to join the team challenge.
The event partners with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy for fundraising. Participants who raise $150 or more qualify for free registration. Race day parking is limited; organizers advise carpooling, drop offs, or parking farther around the Scenic Loop and note that parking on grass may result in ticketing or towing.
