Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk 2027
The Snowman Shuffle is a four mile run and walk held in Cherokee Park in Louisville, KY, scheduled for February 13, 2027. The course begins at Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, returns around the Scenic Loop, and finishes with a downhill section.
The event is part of two series: the River City Races Run the 502 series and the Polar Bear Grand Prix, where this race serves as the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix. A team challenge for the Polar Bear Grand Prix is open to 3 to 5 person teams in Male, Female, and Coed divisions; teams score their fastest three members and coed teams must score at least one woman. There is no extra fee to join the team challenge.
A charity partnership is established with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy; participants who raise $150 or more have their registration fee waived. Entry includes a gender specific long sleeve shirt subject to change, a finisher medal, free race photography, age group awards, and awards for Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters.
Multiple participation options are listed, including in-person and virtual four mile entries and a virtual option with packet mailing. Course maps are noted as new for the year. Parking near Rugby Field and around the Scenic Loop is very limited; parking on grass is prohibited and may result in a ticket or tow.
