Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk : Louisville, KY
The Snowman Shuffle is a four mile run and walk held in Cherokee Park on February 13, 2027, at 2949 Scenic Loop in Louisville, KY. It is the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix and is also part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.
The course starts at Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, and returns around the Scenic Loop, concluding with a downhill finish. The event offers an in-person 4 mile option and multiple virtual 4 mile options, including a virtual entry with packet mailing. Virtual participants may submit results between February 12 and February 15, with finisher certificates available for download on February 16; instructions are sent in advance.
Entry fees include a gender specific long sleeve shirt subject to change, a finisher medal, free race photography, age group awards, and awards for overall, masters, and grand masters. The event partners with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy for fundraising; participants who raise $150 or more qualify for free registration.
A team challenge for the Polar Bear Grand Prix is open to teams of three to five in male, female, or coed divisions; the fastest three scores count and coed teams must include at least one woman. Race day parking is very limited; organizers advise carpooling or parking further around the Scenic Loop and note that parking on the grass may result in tickets or towing.
