Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk 2027
The Snowman Shuffle is scheduled for February 13, 2027 in Louisville, Kentucky at 2949 Scenic Loop. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series and serves as the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix.
The route runs through Cherokee Park. The course begins at Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, returns around the Scenic Loop, and includes a downhill section near the finish. A course map is provided and noted as new this year.
Entry fees include a gender specific long sleeve shirt (subject to change), a finisher medal, free race photography, and awards. Awards are given for overall, masters, grand masters, and age groups; age group categories start at 9 and under and extend through 80 and over. Each Polar Bear Grand Prix race has its own finisher medal and the three medals connect to form a series finisher medal.
Team competition for the Polar Bear Grand Prix Team Challenge is open to 3 to 5 person teams in male, female, and coed divisions. The fastest three team members score and coed teams must include at least one woman. There is no additional fee for the team challenge.
The event has a charity partner, the Olmsted Parks Conservancy, and offers fundraising options including a free registration incentive for participants who raise $150 or more.
Participants should note that parking is very limited around the Rugby Field and Scenic Loop; avoid parking on the grass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
