Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk 2027
The Snowman Shuffle is a four mile run and walk held on February 13, 2027, at 2949 Scenic Loop in Louisville, Kentucky. The event takes place in Cherokee Park and is the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix. It is also part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.
The course begins at the Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, and returns around the Scenic Loop, finishing with a downhill section. The event offers in-person and virtual participation options, including a virtual entry with packet mailing. Virtual results may be submitted during a specified window and participants receive a downloadable finisher certificate.
Entry includes a gender specific long sleeve shirt (subject to change), a finisher medal, free race photography, and eligibility for age group, overall, masters, and grand masters awards. Each Polar Bear Grand Prix race has its own finisher medal that links with the others.
A team challenge is open to 3 to 5 person teams in male, female, and coed divisions; the fastest three team members are scored and the coed division must include at least one woman. The event partners with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy for fundraising; raising a specified amount can waive registration. Parking at Rugby Field and around the Scenic Loop is very limited and parking on the grass may result in a ticket or towing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
