Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler Run/Walk 2027
The Snowman Shuffle is a four mile run and walk held on February 13, 2027, in Cherokee Park at 2949 Scenic Loop, Louisville, KY. The course begins at Rugby Field, follows Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park, and returns around the Scenic Loop with a downhill finish. The event is the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix and is also part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.
Entry for the in-person race includes a gender specific long sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, free race photography, age group awards, and awards for overall, masters, and grand masters. A virtual 4 mile option is available; virtual participants can submit results during a set submission window and will receive a finisher certificate and rankings. Some virtual entries offer packet mailing.
The Polar Bear Grand Prix Team Challenge accepts teams of three to five people in male, female, and coed divisions; the fastest three finishers on each team are scored and the coed division must include at least one woman. The event partners with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy for fundraising; participants who raise at least $150 qualify for free registration under the listed fundraising rules.
Race day parking is very limited. There is a small lot and marked road spots at Rugby Field and limited spaces around the Scenic Loop; parking on the grass may result in a ticket or towing.
