Event Details

The Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler is a four-mile run and walk taking place in Cherokee Park in Louisville, Kentucky. The event begins at Rugby Field and follows a route along Beargrass Creek to Big Rock Park and back around the Scenic Loop.

The race is part of the Run the 502 series, where completing six designated races earns a finisher medal with charms. It is also the third and final race of the Polar Bear Grand Prix series.

Participants in the in-person event receive a gender-specific long sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, free race photography, and are eligible for age group awards. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, and the top male and female masters and grandmasters. Age group awards are available for categories ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over.

A team competition, the Polar Bear Grand Prix Team Challenge, is open to teams of three to five people in male, female, or coed divisions. There is no additional fee to participate in the team challenge.

The event has a charity partner, the Olmsted Parks Conservancy. Fundraising is encouraged, and raising $150 or more can result in a free registration. Virtual race options are available where participants can complete the distance on their own and submit results within a specified time frame to receive a finisher certificate.
