Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri
The Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri takes place in Llanberis within Eryri Snowdonia National Park on 11 and 12 July 2026. The event comprises a series of trail races that visit Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass and Yr Wyddfa. The marathon and the ultra are ITRA and UTMB indexed.
Distances offered include:
- 10K run approximately 9.8 km
- Half marathon approximately 12.9 miles
- Marathon approximately 27.3 miles
- Ultra approximately 57 km
The event includes an event village with music, commentary, shopping, food, kit demonstrations and toilets. On course support is provided by marshals, signage, energy stations and support vehicles. Chip timing and live online results are used for official timing. Finishers receive event mementos designed to reflect the location and local history.
A family friendly programme runs alongside the main races. A 500 m kids fun run takes place on the event field with a suggested £3 donation on the day; proceeds go directly to support the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.
