Snow Peaks 50 Mile Trail Run
Snow Peaks is a 50-mile loop trail race held in the Wasatch Mountains above Provo, Utah. The course contains roughly 10,000+ feet of cumulative elevation gain and loss and includes five major climbs ranging from about 1,100 feet to nearly 3,000 feet. The highest point is Windy Pass at approximately 9,300 feet, followed by a descent of nearly 4,000 feet back toward the finish at Vivian Park.
The route uses a mix of singletrack, dirt roads, and some pavement. Notable course features include the Provo River Trail past Bridal Veil Falls, the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, a 3.7-mile stretch along Hobble Creek Road at mile 22.7, and the final 3.7 miles through South Fork Provo Canyon to Vivian Park. Runners will pass alpine meadows, ridgelines, stream crossings, and sections that may include snow patches. Aid station locations may shift slightly depending on snowpack.
Event logistics note that registration opens December 31, 2025 with tiered fees: early registration $180 through January 31, standard $195 beginning February 1, and late registration $250 starting May 24 at midnight MST.
