Event Overview
The Snow Peaks 50 Mile Trail Run is a 50-mile trail run held in Utah on the second Saturday in June. The course is a loop through the Wasatch Mountains above Provo.
Course Details
The route features approximately 10,000+ feet of elevation gain and loss, including five major climbs ranging from 1,100 feet to nearly 3,000 feet. The highest point is Windy Pass at approximately 9,300 feet. The terrain includes a mix of technical sections, single track, dirt roads, and some pavement. Runners will encounter rocky descents, stream crossings, and can experience sections with snow depending on conditions. The course passes landmarks such as Bridal Veil Falls, the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, Hobble Creek Road, and South Fork Provo Canyon. It starts and finishes at Vivian Park.
Registration
Registration opens on December 31, 2025. The fee is $180 from December 31 to January 31, $195 from February 1, and $250 beginning May 24. Race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
