Snoqualmie Valley Half Marathon
The Snoqualmie Valley Half takes place on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and highlights agricultural land, old-growth forest, and farmland. The course is described as flat and fast with a smooth, non-technical surface. It begins and ends at King County’s Tolt MacDonald Park and follows an out and back route along the Tolt River connector and the Snoqualmie Valley Trail.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon (USATF WA16003RMB)
- 10K (USATF WA16002RMB)
Aid and facilities are provided along the courses. Half marathon aid stations (water, Tailwind electrolyte, and GU gels) are located at approximately miles 2.9, 5.9, 7, and 10.2; portable restrooms are at miles 2, 2.9, 10.2, and 11.1. The 10K course has aid stations with water and electrolyte at about miles 2.9 and 3.3 and a portable restroom at the aid station. Pacers are available for several finish times. The event is cupless to reduce waste; runners are encouraged to use handheld bottles, hydration packs, or a small reusable cup.
Logistics include parking at Tolt MacDonald Park, Tolt Middle School, and downtown Carnation; if the park fills, participants may need to park in Carnation and walk about 1/3 mile. Registrations are non-refundable. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers by gun time and age group awards are given in five-year increments; awards must be picked up at the race. The organizer acknowledges the Indigenous land of Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
