Snoqualmie Valley Half Marathon
The Snoqualmie Valley event on June 20, 2026 takes place along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and highlights agricultural land, old growth forest, and riverside scenery.
Distances
- Half Marathon (USATF certification WA16003RMB)
- 10k (USATF certification WA16002RMB)
Both courses start and finish at King County's Tolt MacDonald Park. Each route winds for about half a mile through the park, then follows a scenic connector trail along the Tolt River. At about mile 1.25 the course joins the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and remains on the trail for the out section before returning to the park for the finish near the historic big red barn. The surface is described as smooth and non-technical and the course is flat and fast.
Aid stations for the half marathon are located at approximately miles 2.9, 5.9, 7, and 10.2 and provide water, an electrolyte drink, and gels; portable restrooms are placed at miles 2, 2.9, 10.2, and 11.1. The 10k has aid stations near miles 2.9 and 3.3 with water and electrolyte drink and a restroom at the aid station. Pacers are provided for several target finish times. The event is cupless to reduce waste and recommends reusable bottles or cups.
Parking is at Tolt MacDonald Park, Tolt Middle School, and downtown Carnation with additional walking required once park lots are full. Packet pickup options include mailed bibs, race morning pickup, and a pre-race pickup at REI Bellevue on June 18. Registration fees vary by month and all registrations are non refundable. Youth and senior discounts of 15 percent apply for participants 22 and under or 65 and over. Overall awards are given to the top three male, female, and non binary finishers by gun time and age group awards are presented in five year increments and must be claimed at the race. The event supports local charities including the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank and partners with REI Cooperative Action Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
