Event overview
The Snoqualmie Valley Half is organized by Orca Running and takes place in Carnation, Washington on June 20, 2026. The event offers two race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
The race start and finish are located at King County’s Tolt MacDonald Park, 31020 NE 40th St, Carnation, WA. The event lists the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank as its charity partner. A beer garden is sponsored by Iron Horse Brewery with proceeds going to the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
Course and logistics
Both courses begin at Tolt MacDonald Park, follow a connector trail along the Tolt River, then join the Snoqualmie Valley Trail near mile 1.25 for the out-and-back route that returns to the park. The organizer describes the surface as smooth and non-technical and the route as flat. The half marathon and 10K courses are USATF certified (Half: WA16003RMB; 10K: WA16002RMB). Pacers are provided for half marathon finish targets of 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, and 2:30.
Parking is available at Tolt MacDonald Park, Tolt Middle School, and on downtown Carnation streets; once park parking fills, attendees will need to park in Carnation and walk about 1/3 mile into the park. Registrations are non-refundable; online pre-registration closes the evening before the race.
Aid stations, facilities and race policies
Half marathon aid stations are located at approximately miles 2.9, 5.9, 7.0, and 10.2 and will offer water, an electrolyte drink (Tailwind), and GU gels. Portable restrooms are placed at miles 2, 2.9, 10.2, and 11.1 on the half course. The 10K has aid stations near miles 2.9 and 3.3 with water and electrolyte drink and a restroom at the aid station.
The event is cupless to reduce waste; runners are advised to bring a handheld bottle, hydration pack, or a small reusable cup. Overall awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers based on gun time, and age-group awards are given in five-year increments and must be picked up at the race.
