Midnight Sun 5 Mi Trail Race
The event is a 5 mile trail race through Soaring Eagle Park in Sammamish, Washington. The course is a King County maintained trail with sections of rocks and exposed tree roots.
Chip timing is used and competitors must wear their bib on the front torso for photo finish scoring. Course support includes water, Gatorade, first aid, and gel or GU located every 3 miles. There is parking available on Trossachs Boulevard.
Registration includes a race t shirt and the Midnight Sun Classic Gold finisher medallion. At the finish there are apples, bananas, oranges and summer music.
The route passes through natural areas where participants may encounter local wildlife such as black bear, cougars, barn owls, deer, rabbits and eagles.
