About the race
Smugglers Run, staged by Sporting Events UK, takes place at Minnis Green, Minnis Bay, Birchington, Kent (CT7 9QP). The flat 5k and 10k routes run along the seafront from Minnis Bay to Reculver, an area famous for smuggling in days gone by, offering a coast-side course suitable for beginners and those chasing a quick time. The event features a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with live pirate action, parrots, and gun crews to enhance the theme.
