The S'mores Run Knoxville
The S'mores Run Knoxville takes place Sunday, November 15, 2026, with start and finish at Ijams Nature Center (2915 Island Home Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920). Packet pickup is available at Ijams Nature Center on race day and parking is provided in separate lots at the Nature Center.
The event is a fun run and will not be officially timed. The route follows Knoxville's greenway system and is a down-and-back course on the Will Skelton Greenway. Participants should note the trail is narrow, open to the public, and bicycles are not allowed; volunteers and directional signs will be in place and runners are asked to stay to the right when possible.
Participants receive a t-shirt, a finisher's medal provided they have a bib, and access to a S'mores Extravaganza with a s'mores bar, music, and vendor giveaways. A virtual option is offered; virtual entrants receive a shirt, bib, and medal but are not timed and are not eligible for awards without a bib.
The event is dog friendly; dogs must be well socialized, kept on a leash, and owners are responsible for cleanup. Race awards include overall top three male and female, masters and grandmasters categories, and age group awards. The guaranteed shirt and size deadline is October 23, 2026. The organizer maintains a no refund policy but offers entry transfer, packet pickup by another person, virtual conversion, or deferral to the next year.
