About the race
The S’mores Run Knoxville is scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2026, with start and finish at Ijams Nature Center (2915 Island Home Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920). The event is described as a fun run and will not be officially timed. The finish area includes a S’Mores Extravaganza with a s’mores bar, music and vendors.
Course descriptions on the event page note routes along Knoxville greenways. Distances listed include:
- 5k along the Knoxville Greenbelt
- four-mile down-and-back on the Will Skelton Greenway
Participants receive a t-shirt, a finisher’s medal and other items from sponsors; a medal is issued only to participants who have a bib on race day. Guaranteed shirt and size deadline is October 23, 2026. Parking is available at Ijams Nature Center in separate lots.
The event is dog friendly; dogs must be well socialized, leashed, and their owners must clean up after them. Water will be available for dogs but no medals will be given to animals.
A virtual option is offered: participants may complete their run remotely, submit a photo or screenshot of tracked results, and receive the same race swag. Race entry fees are tiered, with earlier registration priced lower and a higher race day fee.
