Smoky Hill River Run
The Smoky Hill River Run marks its 45th annual event on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Kenwood Park as part of the Smoky Hill River Festival. Registration for the 2026 race is open and the program includes races for individuals and families.

- Children’s Races
The event includes a festival atmosphere with booths, bouncy houses, face painting, and related activities near the race area. Following a record number of participants last year, organizers expect higher participation in 2026.
A Sideline Supporter option is available for a $20 donation; funds benefit local cancer patients at the Tammy Walker Cancer Center. Sideline Supporters who request a race t-shirt may pick it up during packet pick-up on Friday or on race day at Oakdale Park.
The Smoky Hill River Run is part of the Run Salina series, a collaboration of local organizations encouraging participation in multiple events.
