First Annual Meadowlark Marathon
The Meadowlark Marathon is a trail running event held in Lindsborg, Kansas. The race takes place on the Meadowlark Trail, a newly completed path that connects the cities of Lindsborg and McPherson. Participants start at the Lindsborg trailhead for an out-and-back course.
The event includes three distinct distances:
- Marathon (26.2 Miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 5k
All races are timed, and finishers receive medals. The course utilizes the local trail infrastructure, providing a natural setting for the competition. Following the completion of the races, a post-race gathering is held at Riverside Park. This social event features food trucks and music for participants and attendees.
