Meadowlark Marathon
The Meadowlark Marathon is the inaugural running event held in Lindsborg and McPherson on April 10, 2027. Races use the newly completed Meadowlark Trail and begin at the Lindsborg trailhead on an out-and-back course that showcases the trail.
Distances offered:
- Marathon : 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles
- 5K : 3.1 miles
The course is a live, timed event with official finish times and finisher medals. All registered participants receive an official event T-shirt, a goodie bag, a race bib with timing, and a finisher medal. A post-race celebration takes place at Riverside Park with local food trucks and music.
Registration opens October 2, 2026 and closes April 2, 2027. Listed registration fees are $110.00 for the marathon, $85.00 for the half marathon, and $35.00 for the 5K. Registration fees are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled due to weather, participants may request a deferral to a future event; deferral requests must be submitted by April 24, 2027.
