The Smiley Sprint Triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026 in Clemmons, North Carolina. The event is based at Clemmons West Pool, 3376 Middlebrook Drive, Clemmons, NC 27012. The race is organized as a non-profit; proceeds are returned to the event or to local charities with priority for brain cancer initiatives.

The event includes multiple competition categories: Age Group, Novice, Aquabike, Relay Team, Assisted Athlete, Athena, and Clydesdale. There are three registration-based starter waves: Wave 1 for registrations by June 30, Wave 2 for July 1-22, and Wave 3 for July 23 through race day. Wave placement is determined by registration date.
The event offers services and recognition aimed at first-time triathletes, including a concierge team, a triathlon/transition clinic at packet pickup, and first-timers’ recognition at the awards ceremony.
