Slyne Head AC 5K and Fun Run

Slyne Head AC 5k and Fun Run 2026

Slyne Head AC holds its second 5k and first family fun run to celebrate the club and its connection to the nearby lighthouse. The event is open to runners and walkers and takes place at Keeraunmore Caravan Park. The permit for the event is approved, certificate number 26/430.

There are three distances on offer:

• 5k out and back starting at Keeraunmore Caravan Park
• 2K out and back starting at Keeraunmore Caravan Park
• Fun Run for younger participants

Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third placed female and male in the 5k and 2K races. All other participants receive a Slyne Head AC medal. Fun Run entrants receive a Slyne Head AC medal and a goody bag.

All proceeds from the event will support purchase of equipment and coach upskilling for the club. Keeraunmore Caravan Park is noted as the host location for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
