Connemara International Marathon : 19 April 2026
The Connemara International Marathon takes place in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland on 19 April 2026. It is the 23rd Connemarathon event. Races offered for 2026 are a half marathon, a full marathon and an ultra marathon. Race routes and logistics
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles; starts in Leenane, finishes in Maam Cross.
- Full Marathon - starts at Lough Inagh, follows the half marathon course, finishes in Maam Cross.
- Ultra Marathon - 39.3 miles; the 2023 ultra course will be retained for 2026.
All race numbers will be posted worldwide; entrants must provide a full address when registering. Participants must complete a short form to confirm their place and to book a bus seat. Spectator buses pick up in Galway, Oughterard and Clifden and travel to the finish area at Maam Cross; spectator bus tickets must be purchased in advance. Entry fees listed for the event are: half marathon €70, full marathon €75, ultra marathon €80. Spectator tickets are listed as €20 for adults and €15 for children.
