Connemara International Marathon : 25 April 2027
The Connemara International Marathon is an annual road running event in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland. The event program includes a half marathon, a full marathon and an ultra marathon. The website states that registration is now closed.
The courses use local start and finish towns. The half marathon starts in Leenane and finishes in Maam Cross, covering 13.1 miles and including scenic sections and two steep hills. The full marathon starts at Lough Inagh, follows the half marathon route and finishes in Maam Cross; the route description notes a notable lake-side start and a hilly second half. The ultra marathon covers 39.3 miles.
