Sloane Swanton 5K Research Run
The fifth annual Sloane Swanton 5K Research Run takes place at the Westerville Sports Complex in Westerville, Ohio. The event is organized to support Pediatric Chordoma Research, raising funds to assist in the development of treatment protocols and specialized chemotherapy for this rare disease.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 5K Run/Walk (In-person)
- 5K Run/Walk (Virtual)
- Kids Fun Run (In-person, approximately 100 meters, untimed)
The in-person 5K course is located at 325 N Cleveland Ave. For those unable to attend the physical event in Westerville, the virtual 5K option allows for participation from any location during the designated event window. The Kids Fun Run is a non-competitive event designed specifically for children.
The event site provides designated parking and holds an early packet pickup for registered participants. Awards are given out as part of the program, and a course map is available for the 5K route. All proceeds from the registrations and donations are directed toward medical research for pediatric brain tumors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
