Slippery Rock Community Library Halloween Hustle
The Slippery Rock Community Library presents its 2nd Annual Halloween Hustle at Coopers Lake Campground, 205 Currie Rd., Slippery Rock, PA 16057. The event includes multiple short-distance runs and a family-friendly kids course.
- 5K Run - follows paved and gravel paths through wooded and meadow areas.
- 5K Walk Only - uses the same course as the 5K run.
- Half Mile Kids Fun Run - half mile course, held prior to the 5K events.
The 5K course covers paved and gravel paths with varying elevations and passes through wooded and meadow sections. The kids fun run follows a concise half mile route and finishes before the main 5K events begin. Costume contest winners are announced following the kids run and before the 5K start. Registrations for the events open on June 1, 2026 and close on October 9, 2026. The listed registration fees are twenty five dollars for the 5K run and 5K walk, and fifteen dollars for the half mile kids run.
