Slidell Food & Fun Fest Races
The Slidell Food & Fun Fest Races take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at St. Margaret Mary Church and School in Slidell, Louisiana. The event presents the city’s oldest 5K and 1 mile races and is organized as part of the Slidell Food & Fun Fest with an Oktoberfest theme.

Registration opens August 1 and closes September 1, 2026. Listed entry fees are $32.00 for the 5K and $22.00 for the 1 mile. A special price for ages 13 and under is listed as available through September 30 for $20.00 and includes a T-shirt. Runners and walkers are both welcome.
Course distances are not certified. Children age four and under need not register; unregistered children will not receive a race bib, awards, or chip timing. To minimize the length of public road closures, organizers ask that only participants likely to finish the 5K in 50 minutes or less register for that race.
