Pelican Energy Run for Hope
Pelican Energy Run for Hope is a community fundraising event held on October 31, 2026 at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, LA. The event benefits the Children's Advocacy Center: Hope House, an independent nonprofit focused on recovery, justice, and education related to child abuse.
Two running options are offered:
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - medal included; registration fee $20
- 5K Run/Walk - finisher medallion, race T-shirt, refreshments, post-race beer and lunch; registration fee $35
Registration for both events opens July 10, 2026 at 07:00. Registration closes on different dates for each event: the 5K closes October 17, 2026 at 12:59, and the 1 Mile closes October 30, 2026 at 12:30. The 1 Mile is presented as a Halloween-inspired fun run; the day will include additional Halloween-themed activities for adults and children.
Information provided for 5K registrants includes a custom finisher medallion, race T-shirt, snacks, and race day swag.
