SLC Track Club Winter Race Series
This is a 48th annual winter race series organized by the SLC Track Club. It consists of three separate road races held on Saturdays in early 2026.
Races The series includes three distances:
- 5 km on January 24
- 10 km on February 7
- 15 km on February 21
A makeup run event is scheduled for March 7. A virtual option to run all three distances is also available.
Location All in-person events are based at the DoubleTree by Salt Lake City Airport hotel, located just west of the airport. The indoor ballroom of the hotel is available for participants before and after the races.
Awards and Recognition The 10 km race is designated as the 2026 RRCA Western Region Championship. At each race, cash prizes are awarded to the top three male, female, and nonbinary runners overall, as well as to the top three masters (40+) runners in each gender category. Raffle prizes are also offered.
Registration Notes Registration for individual races closes on their respective race days. Participants who register for the full three-race series and are SLC Track Club members receive a discount. Race shirts are guaranteed for those who register by December 26, 2025.
Packet Pickup Packet pickup is scheduled at the Salt Lake Running Company store on January 22 and 23.
Additional Information These are USATF-sanctioned events. As such, animals are not permitted unless they are designated service animals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
