Event overview
The SLC Track Club 48th Annual Winter Race Series runs from January 24 to March 7, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The series comprises multiple in-person races and a virtual option. Distances included in the series are:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The 10K is designated as the 2026 RRCA Western Region Championship. A Winter Series Makeup Run is scheduled for March 7. A virtual option allows participants to run all three distances within the event window.
Details and logistics
The event host location is DoubleTree by Salt Lake City Airport, 5151 Wiley Post Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. Packet pickup is listed at Salt Lake Running Company, 2454 S 700 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 on January 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Race shirts require registration by December 26 to receive a preferred size. The series is USATF sanctioned; animals are not permitted except designated service animals. SLC Track Club members receive a $10 discount when registering for all three races. Each race awards cash prizes to the top three finishers in Male, Female, and Nonbinary categories and to the top three Masters (40+) in those categories; cash prize levels are specified as $75, $50, and $25.
