Slate Run Trail Race
The event is a trail race in Slate Run, Pennsylvania, held on June 5, 2027, and organized by PA Trail Dogs. The course runs through Tiadaghton State Forest, including the Algerine Wild Area and Red Run sections of the Black Forest Trail, with technical single track, stream crossings, and elevated vistas.

Both distances follow the same trail for the first nine miles. At the Manor Fork camps, half marathon participants follow the road to the final aid station and then to the finish. 25K runners continue on trail along the streambed and then up Old Supply Trail. There is a cut-off for the nine mile section at 12 noon; after that time all participants will be directed onto the half marathon course. Half marathon runners must pass the Manor Camp intersection by 1pm or they will be removed from the course.
Registration opens December 16, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET via UltraSignup. Entry is limited to the first 225 runners or until May 20, whichever occurs first. The event policy states there are no refunds, no deferrals, no switches, and no bandits. The stated cut-offs and entry limits are enforced without exceptions.
