Skyline Scotland 2026

Skyline Scotland returns as a multi-race mountain and trail running event held at Nevis Range near Fort William over the weekend of 18 to 20 September 2026. The weekend features race routes that were developed from earlier editions which began in 2015 and later moved to Kinlochleven in 2016.

The programme includes named races such as Skyline Scotland 100M, Skyline Scotland 100K, Grand Tour Of The Ben 50M, Steall Ultra 50K, Ben Nevis Skyline 30K, Aonach Mor Anarchy 20K and Aonach Mor Avalanche. The event attracts over 2,000 participants and thousands of spectators.

Organisers list event services and onsite features including live commentary and big screens, live streaming and online tracking, local food and drink traders, a partner expo, a grand prize giving ceremony and an evening party. The event has previously featured in the Skyrunning World Series, the Golden Trails World Series and the Spartan Trail and Ultra World Championships, and it has hosted the Skyrunning World Championships. Organisers say the event has generated millions of pounds of economic impact for the Lochaber region.
