Skip Matthews Memorial Run
The event takes place in Lebanon, New Hampshire on June 21, 2026. It features two organized distances and course descriptions for each.
- 1 mile Fun Run/Walk
- 4 mile Run (chip-timed)
The 1-mile fun run/walk begins at the Lebanon green, continues on Bank Street to the former Lebanon Junior High School, joins the Northern Rail Trail, and returns to a finish at Colburn Park. The 4-mile run also begins at the Lebanon green, follows the Northern Rail Trail for about two miles, continues along Riverside Drive to the Packard Covered Bridge, proceeds on Bank Street Extension, and finishes at Colburn Park. The 4-mile course is a loop and carries a USATF race certification number NH16007BK.
Preregistered participants may pick up a chipped bib and a free event t-shirt on event day; t-shirts are available only to those who register before the early registration deadline of June 8. Entry categories include age-based pricing for the 4-mile race and a donation-encouraged option for the 1-mile fun run/walk. Awards are given to overall top male and female finishers and to the top three finishers by age group for both men and women. A free post-run barbecue lunch will be provided.
