Skip Matthews Memorial Run
The Skip Matthews Memorial Run in Lebanon, NH comprises two community running events held on the town green and nearby trails. The shorter event is the 1 mile Brady Bukowski Fun Run/Walk, created in memory of a preschooler who died of a rare brain cancer. The main event is a 4 mile run held in memory of Skip Matthews, who died of cancer in October 2003.
Course routing begins and ends at Colburn Park and uses local streets and trails. The 1 mile route leaves the Lebanon green, follows Bank Street to the former Lebanon Junior High School, joins the Northern Rail Trail, and returns to Colburn Park. The 4 mile course follows the Northern Rail Trail for roughly two miles, continues along Riverside Drive to the Packard Covered Bridge, proceeds onto Bank Street Extension, and finishes at Colburn Park.

Event details note that preregistered runners may pick up chipped bibs and event t shirts on the morning of the event; t shirts are available only to early registrants, with early registration ending Sunday June 8. Awards are given for overall male and female winners and for top three finishers by age group. A post run barbecue lunch is provided by Salt Hill Pub.
