Skidaway Island Half Marathon & 5k
The event takes place on Skidaway Island in Savannah, Georgia on February 27, 2027. It offers two race distances and is hosted inside a gated island community with views of marshes, rivers and residential golf course areas.

The half marathon course is mostly paved, generally flat, and US Track and Field certified so it can be used as a qualifying time. The 5k is not certified. The route includes marsh and riverfront scenery, periods of open road with minimal traffic, and sections that require access through the gated community; the first 2.5 miles and last 2.5 miles are open to the public.
Support and logistics include aid stations approximately every 2 miles with Gatorade served twice, marked course routes, and traffic control at major intersections. Chip timing is provided with instant online results. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at a local running store; no race day registration is offered. Parking is available near the start area and a shuttle is planned for certain registration blocks.
Participant amenities listed by the organizer include free course and finish photos, a finisher medal and tech shirt, age-group awards for places one through eight, continuous awards at the finish, and a special finish treat. Pets are not allowed; strollers and headphones are permitted. The half marathon has a four hour time limit and the 5k has a 1 hour 15 minute limit.
