Skeleton Skedaddle 5K & Kids Pumpkin Run
The Skeleton Skedaddle is a costume-friendly community running event at Silver Park in Missoula on October 25, 2026. The event includes a free, untimed 400 meter kids run and a 5K loop course that starts and finishes at the pavilion and makes use of the Russell Street bridge and the river trail system.

The Kids Pumpkin Run is untimed, requires registration, and children who finish receive a personal pumpkin. Entry fees for the 5K are age-based: participants 13 and under are free; ages 14–18 pay $10; adults 19 and older pay $15 for early registration and $17 after October 1. Run Wild Missoula members receive a $3 discount. Entry fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable as described in the race waiver.
Bib pickup is available Friday, October 23 at RWM HQ (125 E Main St) and Sunday, October 25 at the race start in Silver Park. Some parking is available at Silver Park and on nearby streets; organizers recommend car pooling or biking. Dogs are not permitted to participate, except for ADA service animals on a non-retractable leash six feet or shorter.
