Skeleton Skedaddle 5K & Kids Pumpkin Run
This event takes place on October 25, 2026, at Silver Park in Missoula, Montana (zip code 59802). It includes a community 5K and a short run for children on the park's river trail. The 5K is a loop course that starts and finishes at the large pavilion in Silver Park and uses the Russell Street bridge and Missoula's river trail system. The kids event is a 400 meter dash that begins on the paved river trail in Silver Park and finishes at the large pavilion under the arch.
Registration details differ by event. Registration for the 5K opens August 20, 2026 and closes October 2, 2026; the registration fee for the 5K is $15.00. Registration for the Kids Pumpkin Run opens August 20, 2026 and closes October 25, 2026; the kids event has no registration fee. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the University of Montana's Physical Therapy Student Association to support student educational opportunities, and participants may make an optional donation during registration.
