Skeleton Skedaddle 5K

Skeleton Skedaddle 5K & Kids Pumpkin Run

This event at Silver Park in Missoula combines a community 5K with a short kids race and a Halloween theme. Costumes are strongly encouraged and the 5K uses a loop course that includes the Russell Street bridge and the city river trail system. The start and finish are located near the large pavilion in Silver Park.

• 5K Skeleton Skedaddle loop course using Russell Street bridge and river trail
• 400 meter Kids Pumpkin Run for ages 10 and under, finishers receive a pumpkin

Registration and fees vary by age. The kids dash is free for ages 10 and under but requires registration so pumpkins can be provided. The 5K is free for ages 13 and under; youth 14 to 18 pay a reduced fee; adults pay a fee that increases later in the registration period. Run Wild Missoula members receive a discount. Entry fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable.

Additional event details include bib pickup at RWM headquarters the Friday before the race and at the race start in Silver Park on race day. Some parking is available at Silver Park with street parking nearby. Dogs are not allowed to participate except for ADA service animals, which must be on a non-retractable leash of six feet or less. Proceeds support the University of Montana’s Physical Therapy Student Association and optional donations are possible during registration. Volunteer positions open in September.
