Six Days in the Dome, Milwaukee, WI
Six Days in the Dome is an indoor ultrarunning event held June 18 to June 28, 2026 at 500 South 84th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event offers multiple fixed-time race options across the event week.
Race options include 10-Day, 6-Day, 72-Hour, 48-Hour, 24-Hour, and 12-Hour events. Results for each fixed-time category are consolidated across all days so that all entries in a given category appear in a single combined results set.
An invitational 24 hour race is scheduled during the event and is limited to 25 entrants. Twenty slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and five slots are reserved by the race organizers. The invitational is intended for runners with established performances; example qualifying benchmarks are provided for men and women for 100 mile, 50 mile, and 50K distances. Entrants who do not meet invitational criteria may compete in the regular 24 hour race or receive a refund of their entry fee.
The venue is climate controlled with target temperatures of about 50 to 55 degrees and relative humidity around 30 to 35 percent. The running surface is 12 millimeter Regupol Kombi. The course is USATF certified (WI14001DM) and the event is sanctioned by the IAU with an initial Bronze Label designation.
Refund rules: a full refund of entry fees less processing fees and sales taxes is available before April 1. Until May 1 a 50 percent refund of entry fees is available and other purchased items are fully refundable. After May 1 there are no refunds for entry fees.
