SISU 24 PNW
SISU 24 PNW is a 24 hours choose-your-own-adventure trail event held June 26, 2027 in Enumclaw, WA, organized by Side Quest Adventures and based at Camp Sheppard near Mount Rainier National Park. The weekend centers on a base camp where participants camp overnight and depart from headquarters to complete marked out-and-back trails.
The event features six fully marked trails ranging from approximately 3 miles to 19 miles. Each trail has a stamping point at its furthest location; runners use an ink pad and quest log to verify completion, then check in and out at headquarters so staff can log points and track safety. Trails must be finished once started; shortcuts are not permitted.
A dynamic points system makes earlier finishes worth more points, creating multiple strategies: chase high-value routes, accumulate miles, or pursue optional side quests. Side quests reward curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and problem solving and may include tasks such as carrying an egg, solving puzzles, identifying plants, or community projects.
Registration includes camping Friday and Saturday night at Camp Sheppard, which provides showers, flush toilets, and running water. Every participant receives a custom finisher award; additional awards recognize top overall finishers, teams, Master of Miles, and a SISU Spirit Award. Required gear includes a headlamp, hydration, water filtration, food for the event, and an ink pad for the quest log. Refund and transfer policies apply to registrations.
