SISU 24 Ultra PNW : Camp Sheppard, Enumclaw WA
SISU 24 Ultra PNW is a self supported, choose your own adventure endurance event held at Camp Sheppard near Mount Rainier National Park. The event offers multiple formats: a 100 mile option and 24 hour solo and team formats. Participants follow marked out-and-back trails and check in and out at base camp to record progress with stamps and a quest log.
Six marked trails range in length and carry assigned point values that change based on how many participants complete each route. Optional side quests on trails and separate activities at camp earn additional points. Trail markers include colored ribbons and laminated signs; participants must not move markers and must finish the route once started.
Registration includes three days of camping with access to restrooms, showers, BBQ stands, and sinks. The event provides a custom wood round medal for every participant, awards for top finishers and teams, a custom buckle for the 100 mile finishers, a SISU Spirit Award, and a SISU Miles award. Participants can select a non binary category during registration; separate non binary awards require a minimum number of entrants.
