SISU 100 PNW

SISU 100 is a 100-mile self-supported ultramarathon held June 25, 2027, from a base at Camp Sheppard near Enumclaw, Washington, just outside Mount Rainier National Park. The event is organized by Side Quest Adventures and uses six marked out-and-back mountain trails based at camp.

The six trails range from approximately 3 to 19 miles. Runners must complete each trail once before repeating any route; completing all six once covers about 57.5 miles. After that, participants may repeat trails until they reach 100 miles, but may not run the same trail more than twice in a row. Runners must check in and out at headquarters before and after every trail and remain on marked trails; shortcutting the course can result in disqualification.

The course features runnable forest roads, steep mountain climbs, waterfalls, ridgelines, and alpine views. There are no aid stations on the trails. The event is self-supported: participants are responsible for their food, hydration, and gear while on the trails. Headquarters provides water, electrolytes, snacks, and some common aid items, and basecamp includes tent space, crew access, showers, toilets, and medical support.

Every official finisher who reaches 100 miles before the cutoff receives a custom SISU 100 belt buckle. A racer guide with final gear requirements and event details will be provided to registered participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
