Sisters in the Fight 5K
The Sisters in the Fight 5K is a community walk and run in Salisbury, North Carolina, held on September 26, 2026, at Overton Elementary School, 1825 Park Road West. The event uses sections of the Salisbury Greenway and includes a youth fun run for children 10 and under.

Early registration opens July 28, 2026, and early pricing runs through August 31, 2026. Early 5K fee is $25 with a reduced rate of $20 for ages 18 and under; later 5K registration increases to $30 with the youth rate remaining $20. The Fun Run fee is $15 and fun run registration is available through race day.
Participants in the 5K receive a dry fit race shirt, a water bottle, a commemorative race medal, and post-race refreshments. Shirts are guaranteed for those registered by September 4, 2026.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top masters male and female, and the top three male and female in each age group 10 and under through 70 and over. The Fun Run awards the top three overall male and female finishers.
All 5K proceeds support local families in crisis and fund programs for breast cancer treatment and medication assistance, heart disease prevention and medication assistance, domestic violence recovery, and youth support for children affected by gun violence.
