Event overview
Sisters Country is a spring trail running event in Sisters, Oregon. Both races start and finish at Village Green Park in the center of town. The event date is Sunday, May 3, 2026. The race beneficiary is the Ridgeview High School cross-country team.

Course details
The 50K course features about 2400 ft of climbing and 2400 ft of descending, with roughly 85% single-track trails and 15% gravel road. The course passes views of the Cascade Peaks, including the Three Sisters, and includes five stocked aid stations. The half marathon has about 700 ft of climbing, is roughly 95% single-track trail through Ponderosa Pines, and includes two aid stations.
Logistics
Registration has tiered fees by date. Bib pickup is at Village Green Park. The event uses multi-use trails that remain open to other users during the races. Roads into town at the finish are open to vehicles; participants should be aware of traffic. No dogs are allowed to run with participants due to permit conditions. Headphones are not permitted once runners reach the paved road to the finish.
Amenities and awards
Pre-race coffee and a post-race burrito bar and beer for participants and volunteers are provided. Every finisher receives a finisher medal. Top three finishers in each gender category and non-binary category receive prizes from sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
