The Law Offices of Ron Sholes Sista Strut - Jacksonville 2026
The event is the 11th annual breast cancer walk held at VyStar Ballpark in Jacksonville, Florida on October 3, 2026. Its stated purpose is to heighten awareness about breast cancer in women of color and to provide information on community resources. The event notes that African American women are more likely to develop breast cancer at a younger age and have a higher death rate from the disease than Caucasian women of the same age. It recognizes survivors, their family and friends, promotes early detection, and supports the search for a cure.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Sisters Network Northeast Florida, Inc. and to The Pink Queen B Foundation. Packet pickup locations, dates, and times will be posted by the beginning of September and will be communicated to registered participants.
Registration is open June 15 through October 2, 2026, with on-site registration on October 3 at a higher fee. The registration listing shows a price of $18.12 per individual or per team member, which includes processing fees. Each registrant receives the 2026 Sista Strut T-shirt; all shirts will be pink in 2026. Survivors will receive a special beaded or similar necklace. Sista Strut bags will not be provided; registration includes only a t-shirt and entry. Teams must consist of two or more people and each team member must register and pay. Payments are accepted by credit card only and a per-person processing fee is applied. Sizes 3XL and larger may incur an additional print fee.
