The Law Offices Of Ron Sholes Sista Strut - Jacksonville 2026
The Law Offices Of Ron Sholes Sista Strut is the 11th annual breast cancer walk taking place on October 3, 2026 at VyStar Ballpark in Jacksonville, Florida (301 A Philip Randolph Blvd). The event focuses on issues of breast cancer in women of color and on sharing information about community resources.
The event notes that studies show African American women are more likely to get breast cancer at a younger age and have a higher death rate from breast cancer than Caucasian women of the same age. Sista Strut recognizes survivors and their families, promotes early detection, and supports efforts to find a cure.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Sisters Network Northeast Florida, Inc. and to The Pink Queen B Foundation to benefit women in Jacksonville.
Registration is open June 15 through October 2, 2026, with a day of registration on October 3. A per person registration fee applies; credit card payments only with an approximate $3.50 processing fee per person. Each participating team member must register and pay individually; a team may include two or more people. Registrations include the 2026 Sista Strut T shirt, which will be pink. Survivors will receive a special beaded or similar necklace. Sista Strut bags will not be provided in 2026.
