Its Grim Up North Running stages the Sir Titus Pie n Pickle Plod on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal next to Salts Mill in Saltaire, Shipley, West Yorkshire. The next scheduled race date is 17/01/2026. Distances offered include:

Course and logistics

The route runs largely on towpath and compact trails and is arranged as out-and-back or lapped courses depending on distance. Routes are marshalled and signed. Well stocked feed stations are provided approximately every three miles; the event operates generally cup-less and participants should use a reusable cup or bottle. GPX files are available for navigation.

There is a cut-off time of 6.5 hours for completion. Parking is available in surrounding streets and a car park, but spaces are limited. Large over-ear headphones are banned; bone-conducting headphones or one-in-one-out in-ear use is permitted. Runners who withdraw should inform the nearest marshal.
