Course and logistics
The course follows canal towpaths in an out-and-back format. The surface is described as compact towpath with minimal elevation, and the route is fully marked and marshalled. Aid stations are provided at roughly three mile intervals offering drinks and snacks. All distances share the same 6.5 hour cut-off time.
Race information includes a cup-less policy so runners should bring a refillable bottle or soft cup. Headphone rules do not allow large over-ear sets; bone-conducting and in-ear use are permitted with one ear free. GPX downloads are recommended. Road shoes are advisable. Parking is available around Saltaire but space is limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
