About the race
Sir Titus March Mayhem takes place along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Saltaire in West Yorkshire. The event offers a range of distance options and uses canal towpaths for mostly flat, good trail running on an out and back route. Distances available: - 5k - 10k - 10 miles - Half marathon - 20 mile - Marathon - Ultra marathon The races are licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UKA rules. The course is marshalled and signed.
Aid stations are provided at roughly three mile intervals and the organiser operates a cup free approach so runners are encouraged to use a reusable cup or bottle. Participants should note there may be some unmarshalled road crossings. Facilities at the venue include canal side loos at the start and finish. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a selection of treats.
Travel options listed by the organiser include a very short walk from Saltaire train station and local parking near the village and Titus Salt School; council parking charges may apply.
