The event is Trail Running Association licensed under UKA rules. The course is marshalled and signed. Feed and drink stations are positioned about every three miles and normally offer drinks and a range of food; participants are encouraged to use reusable cups or bottles. Canal side toilets are provided at the start and finish. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and additional treats.
Practical notes from the organiser include guidance on earphones with a preference against large over ear headphones and a recommendation for bone conduction or one in one out ear pieces where needed. There may be unmarshalled road crossings. Access is straightforward from Saltaire train station and there is nearby parking with local council restrictions; parking is also available at Titus Salt School. Transfers and deferrals can be managed via the organiser's online system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
