Singing River 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk

The 5th Annual Singing River 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for July 11, 2026 at McFarland Park in Florence, AL. The event includes a 5K course, a 1 mile fun run/walk, and a concurrent car show. Participants are instructed to look for Pavilion 1 and the red, white, and blue balloons at the start area.

Online registration closes on July 10, 2026; on-site registration and packet pickup will be available the morning of the event. Entry fees listed are $28 for the 5K and $23 for the 1 mile event. The event policy states there are no refunds and that the event will proceed rain or shine. Every participant will receive a medal and a 5K award ceremony will take place after the race. Proceeds will support SHINE Inspiring Youth Mental Health and the Suicidal Crisis Lifeline.
