Event overview
Sinfin 5 is a road running event held at Sinfin Moor Park, DE24 9HW. The main race covers five miles on tarmac paths and local roads. The organisers stated that entries for the 2025 race reached capacity and were closed. A 2026 edition is scheduled for 17 May 2026. The event is listed as the first race of the 2025 Run Derby Series.
Course, distances and facilities
The route runs around Sinfin Moor Park, follows Sinfin Moor Lane, uses a new footpath to Infinity Park Way for a short section, returns to Sinfin Moor Lane and then back into the park to the finish area. The course is described as flat with a large section of fresh tarmac.

- 1 mile / 1.6 km fun run (one lap of the park, pay-on-the-day entry, fee applies)
Finishers receive a T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Prizes include Derby Runner Vouchers for first, second and third placed men and women. Park facilities open during the event include a café (cash only), home-made cake sale, additional toilets, changing rooms and showers; these are run by a local volunteer group.
