Sinfin 5

Event overview

The Sinfin 5 takes place on 17 May 2026 at Sinfin Moor Park, Derby. The main race distance is 5 miles on a flat course. Entry capacity is 350 and the minimum age is 15. The event is licensed by England Athletics under UKA rules. Entry fees are shown as £18/20 plus a £1.70 administration fee, with a lower rate for UKA-affiliated runners. Finishers receive a T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Derby Runner vouchers are listed as prizes for the first three men and first three women. A pay-on-the-day fun run for children is also provided.

Course and facilities

The route stays mostly on tarmac and compact surfaces. The course runs around Sinfin Moor Park, proceeds up Sinfin Moor Lane, follows a short section of Infinity Park Way, returns along Sinfin Moor Lane, and then finishes back in the park near the start. The organiser notes a large section of fresh tarmac on the route.
