Event
Sinfin 5 is scheduled for 17 May 2026 at Sinfin Moor Park, Derby. The main race distance is 5 miles. A separate pay-on-the-day fun run for children is offered at 1 mile (1.6 km). The event has a stated capacity of 350 and a minimum age of 15 for the main race. The race is licensed by England Athletics under UKA rules. Finishers receive a T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Prizes in the main race include Derby Runner vouchers for the first three men and the first three women. Entry fees are shown as £18/£20 plus a £1.70 administration fee, with a lower rate for UKA-affiliated runners.
Course and facilities
The route is largely on tarmac paths and is described as flat. The course runs around Sinfin Moor Park, proceeds along Sinfin Moor Lane, follows a footpath to Infinity Park Way for a short section, returns to Sinfin Moor Lane and then back into the park to complete the circuit. Park facilities available during the event include a café (cash only), a homemade cakes sale, additional toilets, changing facilities and showers.
