Event details
Sinfin 5 takes place on 17 May 2026 at Sinfin Moor Park, Derby. The race is organised by Sinfin Running Club and is licensed by England Athletics under UKA rules. The event has a capacity of 350 and a minimum entry age of 15.
Course and distances
The main race covers 5 miles on a flat route. The majority of the course is on tarmac and compact surfaces. The route runs around Sinfin Moor Park, continues up Sinfin Moor Lane, follows a footpath to Infinity Park Way for a short section, then returns to the park and finishes near the start. There is also a pay-on-the-day fun run for children of 1 mile (1.6 km).
Entries, fees and prizes
Entry fees are shown as £18/£20 with an additional £1.70 administration fee, with a lower rate for UKA-affiliated runners. Finishers receive a T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Derby Runner vouchers are awarded to the first, second and third placed men and ladies.
On-site facilities
Park facilities available during the event include a cafe (cash only), homemade cake sales, additional toilets, changing rooms and showers. These facilities are managed by the Friends of Sinfin Moor Park, a volunteer group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
