Simmons Super Sprint
The Simmons Super Sprint takes place on June 28, 2026 at the Simmons Sports Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The event includes an outdoor pool swim, a flat bike course and a flat run course.
Distances:
- Swim: 300 m
- Bike: 5.4 km
- Run: 2 km
The swim is held in the centre's outdoor pool. Participants swim in groups of 12 with two athletes per lane and have up to 15 minutes to complete their swim. The bike course is an out-and-back route along North River Road, turning right onto Brighton Road, then onto the Victoria Park bike path. The run is an out-and-back along North River Road to Hope Drive.
Participation requirements and rules state that all entrants must be members of Triathlon PEI, Triathlon NS, Triathlon NB or Triathlon NL. A one-day Triathlon PEI membership is available for 20 dollars, 10 dollars for those under 16. No e-bikes are permitted; road, gravel and mountain bikes are allowed. There are no refunds, deferrals or transfers. The event admits a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 48 participants. Volunteers are welcome and receive a discount code for a future Triathlon PEI event.
