Thames Meander Summer
Thames Meander is a riverside race series that starts in Small Profit Dock Gardens in Barnes, adjacent to Barnes Sports Club Race HQ at 261 Lonsdale Road, London SW13 9QL. Routes follow the Thames Path across Barnes Bridge toward Kew and continue to the Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts on scenic out and back courses.
Distances offered:
- 10 km out and back to Kew Gardens Car Park CP2
- Half marathon single out and back to Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts CP3
- Marathon two laps of the half marathon out and back to Petersham CP3
The course is described as flat, fast and runnable. The route is marked and marshalled along its length. Checkpoints are reported to be well stocked and the event provides professional medical support from KLP Medical Supplies.
