Signal Mountain Pie Run
The Signal Mountain Pie Run returns for its 50th edition, serving as the 2026 RRCA State Championship 10K. This USATF-certified race (TN21050MS) takes place on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, and is hosted by the Chattanooga Track Club. The event follows a rolling course that features sunrise views of the valley from East Brow Road, approximately 1,000 feet above the valley floor.
The course begins and ends at Pruett's Market. Participants can expect a festive atmosphere at the finish line, including music and an outdoor fireplace. Registered runners receive a butterfly mesh technical short-sleeve shirt and, specifically for this 50th anniversary event, a commemorative finisher medal. Post-race refreshments include homemade biscuits and pumpkin pies for participants.
A unique feature of this event is the prediction contest. Runners may estimate their net finish time on their application for a chance to win cash prizes. To be eligible for the prize money, the runner must finish the course in under 70 minutes. Additionally, a local raptor rescue organization will be present in the race village with a live bird.

Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in several categories, including Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Grand Masters. These top finishers receive custom pumpkin trophies. Age group medals are also awarded in five-year increments, ranging from 14 and under to 75 and over.
Parking is available at the LDS Church and Truist Bank lots, while participants are asked to leave the front rows at the market open for customers.
