Holiday Hustle 5K'ish and 10K'ish - Chattanooga, December 13, 2026
Evergreen Property Group and Bad Beard Events organize a trail race in the Black Creek subdivision near Mt. Aetna that benefits the Tennessee River Gorge Trust. The event uses new trails on Aetna Mountain and the main Aeta Trailhead as a focal point for participants and support.
The start and finish area includes a large open field, covered pavilions with picnic tables and grills, a playground, a dog park, and a basketball court. The site address is 400 Alpine Way, Chattanooga, TN. Coordinates for the start and finish are 35.0181740,-85.4061561. Participants can follow signage past the club to the back of the subdivision.
Distances:
- 5K'ish: single blue/green loop, distance around 3.7, about 600 ft gain per loop.
- 10K'ish: two same-direction loops, distance around 7.2, about 600 ft gain per loop.
There will be one full aid station offering water and snacks at the main Aeta Trailhead. Every participant receives holiday-themed swag and pancakes after the race. The course may be walked or hiked by those who prefer not to run. Dogs are welcome at the venue but may not run the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
