Holiday Hustle 5K'ish and 10K'ish : Chattanooga, TN
This trail running event is organized by Bad Beard Events with Evergreen Property Group and supports the Tennessee River Gorge Trust. It takes place in the Black Creek subdivision on and around Aetna Mountain and the Aetna Trailhead near 400 Alpine Way, Chattanooga, TN.
Two loop-based race options are offered:
- 5K-ish: about 3.7 miles, single blue/green loop.
- 10K-ish: about 7.2 miles, two same-direction loops.
Each loop has roughly 600 feet of elevation gain. There will be one full aid station with water and snacks at the main Aetna Trailhead. The start and finish occupy a large open field with covered pavilions, picnic tables and grills, a playground, a dog park, and a basketball court. Dogs may attend but are not permitted to run the race.
Race participants receive holiday-themed swag and pancakes after the event. Registration closes on December 12, 2026. The layout and facilities allow spectators to remain near the start and finish area while runners use the marked course through the subdivision and mountain trails.
