Holiday Hustle Trail Race
The Holiday Hustle is a trail running event held in the Black Creek subdivision of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Organized by Bad Beard Events in partnership with Evergreen Property Group, the race takes place on the trails of Aetna Mountain. The event serves as a fundraiser to support the Tennessee River Gorge Trust.
Participants can choose between two distance options, which follow a looped course format on brand-new trails. The course features an elevation gain of approximately 600 feet per loop, consisting of an uphill climb followed by a descent. One full aid station providing water and snacks is located at the main Aeta Trailhead. The available distances are:
- 5Kish: A single loop covering approximately 3.7 miles.
- 10Kish: Two same-direction loops totaling approximately 7.2 miles.
The race environment is open to various activity levels, as participants are permitted to either run or hike the course. The start and finish area is located at a facility that includes covered pavilions, picnic tables, grills, a playground, a basketball court, and a dog park. While dogs are welcome at the venue, they are not permitted to participate in the race itself.
All registered runners receive Christmas-themed items and a pancake breakfast following the completion of their distance. Registration for the event remains open until the day before the scheduled race date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
