Event Overview
The Holiday Hustle is a trail race held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The event supports the Tennessee River Gorge Trust. It takes place in the Black Creek subdivision on Aetna Mountain.
Course and Distances
Participants can choose between two trail distances. The 5K'ish course is approximately 3.7 miles (one loop). The 10K'ish course is approximately 7.2 miles (two loops of the same route). Each loop has about 600 feet of elevation gain. The courses use new trails on Aetna Mountain.
Start/Finish Area and Amenities
The start and finish area is in a large open field. The location features covered pavilions with picnic tables and grills, a playground, a dog park, and a basketball court. An aid station with water and snacks is located at the main Aetna trailhead. Every runner receives "Christmas swag" and pancakes after the race.
Participation and Logistics
All ability levels are welcome; participants may hike the course. The event is open to families and spectators. Dogs are allowed in the venue area but cannot run the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
