Sidewalk Shuffle 5K
The Sidewalk Shuffle 5K is a community running event held in Duluth, Minnesota on 07/08/2026. The course starts and finishes at the Lakewalk at Endion Station and follows an out-and-back route heading east along the shore of the Lakewalk.
The event is open to ages 6 and older. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome, and participants are asked to place themselves at the start line according to how they will move on the course: runners toward the front, walkers, shufflers and rollers toward the middle or back.
Awards are organized by age and team categories. Individual awards include 1st place Youth (6-12) male and female, 1st place Teen (13-17) male and female, and 1st through 3rd place Adult (18+) male and female. Team awards include 1st place Men, 1st place Women, and Co-Ed. Team scoring is based on the four fastest finishers; co-ed teams must include at least two genders and may have a maximum of five shufflers.
Results and final standings will be posted on the Duluth YMCA website and on Northland Runner and Duluth Timing and Events. Parking guidance is provided; participants may receive free parking validation for Holiday Inn Ramp or 4th Avenue Auto Park with proof of bib at the welcome table.
The YMCA may cancel or alter the event for safety reasons such as severe thunderstorms with lightning. If the race is canceled for weather, no refunds or credits will be issued.
